A recent example of Chamber’s “Product Testing and Sampling Service”: When one of our major manufacturers mentioned that one of their fabricating customers was looking for a source of silver Mylar tape, Chambers Packaging responded immediately. A same day phone call identified the customer’s specific tape needs, the quantity they were going to buy, and their annual usage rate. Chambers quickly identified the best source of the tape. A quotation was prepared and sent to an appreciative purchasing agent who was in his last week of his employment. Undeterred by this, the pricing was approved pending product testing. Chambers sent samples of the silver Mylar tape and the new incoming purchasing agent was brought up to speed. The next week the corporate engineers approved a test of Mylar tape samples. An annual contract exceeding $10,000 was signed. The new, satisfied customer saved money and experienced better customer service all because one of our major manufacturers mentioned their customer’s needs.
